Note: Attempt any five questions. All questions carry equal marks.
1.       (i)  Convert the decimal number 35.25 into binary, octal and
      Hexadecimal number system.
(ii)  Explain the working of full adder and make the circuit
                 diagram using NAND gates.

2.       What do you mean by multiplexer. Explain and design 8:1
           multiplexer. Also write the uses of multiplexer.

3.       Design a modulo 16 asynchronous counter using T flip-flop.

4.       What do you understand by DMA mode of data transfer?
           explain Bus request, Bus grant and burst transfer with reference to DMA.

5.       Write short note on the following for Asynchronous data transfer:
(i)                   Strobe Control method
(ii)                 Handshaking method

6.       Explain Hierarchy of memory. Also write major difference between
Ram and ROM.

7.       Briefly explain the following terms
a)       Fetch and execute cycle
b)       Organization of central processing Unit
c)       Stack Organization
